glucose tolerence test

has anyone had their glucose tolerence test done i did mines on monday and was told i have to see my doctor in the next week because my sugar was not going down that fast what does this actually mean also since i went to take the test my stomach has been feeling nausea has anyone ever felt that way.

That's one LOOONNGGG sentence!!! Your doctor probably just wants to run thoguh the numbers with you and give you further instructions, as far as diet and more tests. You'll probably do a 3 hour glucose test next. Your blood sugar has the go down to a certain level in a certain amount of time.

i had the same thing. i go tomorrow for my second test. it just means ur sugar was too high and what they do is have u drink that stuf again, they every hour for 3 hours they draw blood to see if its breaking down.
