re: Cats and Pregnancy

Mine have always needed attention, for almost 3 years now they've just had to be near me, on my lap, in my face, rubbing their face against mine...if I don't pick them up when they want to be held, they'll jump up into my arms or on my back, and the smaller ones loves to sit on my shoulder. Hasn't changed at all since I've become pregnant.

We took in a stary kitten when I was a few months along so I don't know how she would have been when I was not pregnant. No one freak we took her in and got her fixed and all her shots so we know she does not have anything. She was only four months when she found us. Just showed up in our driveway. Wouldn't leave for days. We have never had cats and my husband and I thought we did not like them. However she stole both our hearts, and our four year olds too. Anyway I got sidetracked. So she follows me everywhere. When I get up to pee in the middle of the night she has to come with me. If I am on the couch then she is on my belly. In the middle of the night I will wake up and she will be asleep on my belly. I guess we will have to wait and see what she does with me after the baby is born. LOL.

Well I have 2 cats. My older cat ignored me and growled at me all the time up until about a week ago. All of the sudden he became mister lover and cuddle bug! I keep telling my fiance I think he's sick! He's never been so affectionate in the 3 years I've had him. My younger Cat has always been needy, but he is SOOOOO protective of me! He likes to lay on my side or my lap and if you try to touch me or him he will smack you and sit there and give you his evil eye. I think it's funny! Between the two of them lately they have gotten into a lot of fights over me. They are both so territorial! I love my cats they have the most awesome personalities!
