Here is a song that helped me through my miscarriage in July:

Glory Baby
Glory baby you slipped away as fast as we could say baby…baby..
You were growing, what happened dear?
You disappeared on us baby…baby..
Heaven will hold you before we do
Heaven will keep you safe until we’re home with you…
Until we’re home with you…
Miss you everyday
Miss you in every way
But we know there’s a
day when we will hold you
We will hold you
You’ll kiss our tears away
When we’re home to stay
Can’t wait for the day when we will see you
We will see you
But baby let sweet Jesus hold you
‘till mom and dad can hold you…
You’ll just have heaven before we do
You’ll just have heaven before we do
Sweet little babies, it’s hard to
understand it ‘cause we’re hurting
We are hurting
But there is healing
And we know we’re stronger people through the growing
And in knowing-
That all things work together for our good
And God works His purposes just like He said He would…
Just like He said He would…
BRIDGE:
I can’t imagine heaven’s lullabies
and what they must sound like
But I will rest in knowing, heaven is your home
And it’s all you’ll ever know…all you’ll ever know…

Another Poem I love that helped me too-
Today I saw you crying
I sent you lots of love
I hope that you can feel it
I'm here just up above
Today I jumped from cloud to cloud
And flew across the sky
And God told me all about you
And why you often cry
He told me that you were special
And your love for me is so deep
He told me that one day I'll meet you here
And in your arms I'll leap
I met a nice man the other day
He sat me on his knee
He told me that he knew you, Mom
And do you know what else he told me?
He told me all about you
About your pretty face
About your kindness, love and joy
About your sweet grace
I told that man I knew you
Cause we were once so close
I grew in your belly, Mommy
Just beneath your clothes
I told that man you talked to me
And prayed for me each night
And how I felt your love right there
And how you would hug me tight
No, you're not a stranger, Mom
Although we're now apart
It's really not that far, Mommy
I know I'm in your heart
I can't wait to see you, Mommy
God says you'll be here soon
Until then, I'm with you
And I love you to the moon

I have lots of poems(thanks Jess!) but these are my faves!!
The Cord
We are connected,
My child and I, by
An invisible cord
Not seen by the eye.
It's not like the cord
That connects us 'til birth
This cord can't been seen
By any on Earth.
This cord does it's work
Right from the start.
It binds us together
Attached to my heart.
I know that it's there
Though no one can see
The invisible cord
From my child to me.
The strength of this cord
Is hard to describe.
It can't be destroyed
It can't be denied.
It's stronger than any cord
Man could create
It withstands the test
Can hold any weight.
And though you are gone,
Though you're not here with me,
The cord is still there
But no one can see.
It pulls at my heart
I am bruised...I am sore,
But this cord is my lifeline
As never before.
I am thankful that God
Connects us this way
A mother and child
Death can't take it away…
There is no foot so small that it cannot leave an imprint on this world"
Sometimes love is for a moment.
Sometimes love is for a lifetime.
Sometimes a moment is a lifetime.
Remembering You
We thought of you today,
But that is nothing new
We thought of you yesterday
And will tomorrow, too
We think of you in silence
And make no outward show
For what it meant to lose you
Only those who love you know
Remembering you is easy
We do it everyday
It's the heartache of losing you
That will never go away.

This is a poem i found a while ago, and it really keeps my spirits high although it is quite a sad poem, it is so touching.
My Mom is a survivor,
or so I've heard it said.
But I can hear her crying at night
when all others are in bed.
I watch her lay awake at night
and go to hold her hand.
She doesn't know I'm with her
to help her understand.
But like the sands on the beach
that never wash away...
I watch over my surviving mom,
who thinks of me each day.
She wears a smile for others...
a smile of disguise!
But through Heaven's door I see
tears flowing from her eyes.
My mom tries to cope with death
to keep my memory alive.
But anyone who knows her knows
it is her way to survive.
As I watch over my surviving mom
through Heaven's open door...
I try to tell her that angels
protect me forevermore.
I know that doesn't help her...
or ease the burden she bears.
So if you get a chance, go visit her...
and show her that you care.
For no matter what she says...
no matter what she feels.
My surviving mom has a broken heart
that time won't ever heal.
My other favourite is:
What Makes a Mother? - Author Unknown
I thought of you and closed my eyes and prayed to God today.
I asked, 'What makes a Mother?' and I know I heard Him say,
A mother has a baby, this we know is true,
But God, can you be a mother when your baby's not with you?
Yes you can, He replied, with confidence in His voice
I give many women babies, when they leave is not their choice.
Some I send for a lifetime, others for a day
And some I send to feel your womb, but there's no need to stay.
I just dont understand this Lord, I want my baby here!
He took a breath and cleared His throat and then I saw a tear,
I wish the I could show you what your child is doing today,
If you could see your child smile with the other children and say.
'We go to earth to learn our lessons of love and life and fear,
My mummy loved me oh so much I got to come straight here.
I feel so lucky to have a mum who had so much love for me,
I learned my lessons very quickly, my mummy set me free.
I miss my mummy oh so much, but I visit her each day.
When she goes to sleep, on her pillow's where I lay,
I stroke her hair and kiss her cheek and whisper in her ear,
Mummy don't be sad today, I'm your baby and I'm here'.
So you see, my dear sweet one, your children are ok,
Your babies are here in my home, and this is where they'll stay.
They'll wait for you with me, until your lesson's through,
And on the day I call you home they'll be at the gates for you.
So now you know what makes a mother.
It's the feeling in your heart,
Its the love you had so much of, right from the very start.
Though some on earth may not realise until their time is done,
Remember all the love you have,
And you ARE a special mum!

Part of a poem by Emily Dickinson, one of my favorite poets
And if I go, while you're still here....
know that I live on,
vibrating to a different measure
behind a thin veil you cannot see through.
You will not see me,
so you must have faith.
I wait for the time when
we can soar together again,
both aware of each other.
Until then, live your life to the fullest
and when you need me,
just whisper my name in your heart,
...I will be there.

the "what makes a mother" poem makes me tear up every time
quoteposted 5th Oct '07
I'm just new on the site but when Emily died. Someone wrote this poem for us:
This preciouse little girl we did not get to know
This precious little child we brely got to hold
Why did God have to take and so quickly and like this?
When WE'd already promised Him that she would be His?
Will this pain we're feeling ever go away?
Or is this throbbinh ache forever here to stay?
This awful greif we sffer with , Lord cannot be hushed.
Oh dear God, Our One True King, Please draw near to us.
We beleive You when you tell us Lord: she's in a better place
She's alivea nad well and happy and she's looking in Your face.
But as we weep and as we tremble at our great great loss,
It's hard to fatham of a abetter place than our empty arms.
God when you hold our little girl in your caring arms,
As you cuddle and sing to her and start smiling at her charm,
Please, we beg you let her know how much we miss her so,
How much we ache to hold her now and that we'll never let her go.
Emily, our little girl, you'll never be replaced.
You hold a spot among our hearts that will never be erased.
AS time passes and so it will, we want you to forever know,
You're our firstborn child, our preciouse gift, whom we'll always ache to hold.
I love this poem becasue it reminds me that even though I ache without her, she is forever safe and happy in heaven.

I found this on the CDH support website, and although its written about raising a child with a disability I think it relates to losing a child as well..maybe that just me though
*******************************
I am often asked to describe the experience of raising a child with a disability to try to help people who have not shared that unique experience to understand it, to imagine how it would feel. It's like this...
When you're going to have a baby, it's like planning a wonderful vacation trip to Italy. You buy a bunch of guidebooks and make your wonderful plans. The Coliseum. The Michelangelo David. The gondolas in Venice. You may learn some handy phrases in Italian. It's all very exciting.
After several months of eager anticipation, the day finally arrives. You pack your bags and off you go.
Several hours later, the plane lands. The stewardess comes in a says, "Welcome to Holland."
"Holland?!?" you say, "What do you mean, Holland? I signed up for Italy. I'm supposed to be in Italy! All my life I've dreamed of going to Italy."
But there's been a change in flight plan. They've landed in Holland and there you must stay.
The important thing is that they haven't taken you to a horrible, disgusting filthy place full of pestilence, famine and disease. It's just a different place.
So you must go out and buy new guidebooks. And you must learn a whole new language. And you will meet a whole new group of people you would have never met.
It's just a different place. It's slower-paced than Italy, less flashy than Italy. But after you've been there for a while and catch your breath, you look around and you begin to notice that Holland has windmills; Holland has tulips; Holland has Rembrandts.
But everyone you know is busy coming and going from Italy, and they're all bragging about what a wonderful time they had there. And for the rest of your life you will say, "Yes, that’s where I was supposed to go. That's what I had planned."
And the pain of that will never, ever go away, because the loss of that dream is a very significant loss.
But if you spend your life mourning the fact that you didn't get to Italy, you may never be free to enjoy the very special, the very lovely things about Holland.

This is a poem that was made for Kaili by a member of our extended family.
I still can not read it without crying my face off... I am also posting this in its own subject because it is so beautiful.
A gift from Heaven was given to you,
A bundle of joy from the start.
Her precious little hands and face,
Could melt the coldest heart.
And for some unknown reason,
From Earth she'll be taken away
Then on to Heaven as an angel
She will fly to live and play!
Her gift to you was a blessing,
She was your daughter, no matter how brief.
Losing her will be the hardest thing,
Every one can feel your grief.
Take comfort the clouds above you,
Will hold her in their care.
She will peek down from the Heavens,
And watch over you from there!
Kaili will be your angel,
Guarding you from above.
Holding her Mommy and Daddy,
With tenderness and love!
Take comfort that your sweet one,
Will never be far from you.
She will sit upon your shoulders,
No matter what you do.
God, when you are ready,
Please cuddle her in your arm.
Keep her safe beside you,
Comfortable and warm.
She has touched the hearts of many,
Even those she doesn't know.
It doesn't take much for this angel,
To make your feelings show!
God bless Kaili!
