re: Words Of Encouragement.

its a relief to know that i am not alone. i know it is hard. i went back and forth to the er for a week i believe i checked into the er 6 times in a week. i was 7 weeks when they did my first ultra sound. the babys heartbeat was slow for a babys heartbeat and so i tried to prepare myself for the worst but when it came down to it on november 10th i wasnt ready to learn that the little angel that i already loved with everything i was, was no longer alive. its the one of the hardest things i have ever had to face and reading some of the poems and listening to some of these songs has really helped. Loss of a child at any age (or stage, whichever you prefer) is hard and i dont think anyone really understands that untill they go thru it. i wish it didnt happen but it does and there is no easy way to deal with it. but all i can do from here is pray and try again and hope i have better luck next time. Ive never felt so lost i feel like a part of me has been ripped out but at the same time i think to myself that maybe its a good thing that god took this baby because the heartbeat was so slow. i dont know but thank you to everyone who has posted a song or poem, and im sorry i cant do the same.

I love that you are exploring brokenness and faith in this site. We all need this authenticity.

I lost my baby Moriah after giving birth at 21 weeks Dec 3, 2010
My friend told me:
" God walks in his garden, every once in a while he sees a flower that is more beautiful then those he sees around him, and he just has to pick it to take it with him."
Made me feel amazing, missing my baby girl daily

this song is for those who need the encouragement and I know that my Lord and Savior helps me get through...

Missing someone gets easier every day because even though it's one day further from the last time you saw each other, it's one day closer to the next time you will.


I can't wait to get to heaven and meet my babies!

That is so beautiful, brought tears to my eyes and made me smile at the same time. I often catch myself wondering if I will be reunited with my child as it died at six weeks, but i didn't know untill i went in for a 11 week check up. It's hard to know what will become, so many unanswered questions. Thanks for that poem, it was amazing to read.

My absolute favorite:

Also, my favorite song is "Little Wonders" - Rob Thomas. It's soo beautiful, makes me smile and cry all at once.

I know exactly how you feel tears are streaming down my eyes reading this I lost twins last friday I was 15 weeks im stilll in the very early stages of feeling loss butyour words are comforting xxxx

i feel yalls pain Braelyn was born may 10th at 24 weeks and passed the 12th. i never got to hold her untill she was taking her final breath. there is no pain greater than loosing a child. i wish yall the best and hope you all find the comfort i have in these pages.
