[snip!] ... our school is ever planning on getting a class to help inform teen girls about pregnancy, just about how not to get pregnant. My high schools heatlh class focused more on drug and alcohol abuse and eating disorders than pregnancy. It was a 1/2 year class. Here in Utah they are only allowed to teach abstinence and my parents had to sign a permission form for that. I took child development as one of my electives though and they go into full detail about pregnancy and labor. I totally forgot about the bleeding part. We had to take home dolls for a weekend that had schedules where they would cry and you'd have to change their diaper, feed them burp them, rock them. It was a great experience to know what having a newborn was like.
