Oh wow! That would be a little scary. I'm just starting 31 weeks and I'm starting to wonder when I'm going to experiance braxton hicks... I keep thinking I'm going to feel something soon but nothing yet! I'm sitting here now reading all these suggestions and making lists of things I will need. My sister had her 3rd baby 5 months ago and last minute they almost had to do a c-section so I'm probably going to pack a little extra just in case something like that happens. I live about 45 minutes away from my hospital so it wouldn't be easy if I forgot something. I'm excited to start packing but I was going to wait until after my baby shower. We haven't really bought a lot for our baby because everyone tells me to wait and see what we get from family and friends at the shower. I'm so impatient when I'm excited about something so it's hard! And I'm a very organized person so I dont' like not being prepared! I don't want to be too nosey but did they say why you started having contractions so soon?

This one isn't quite about hospital bags, but I was just thinking about the whole, bottles and bringing formula and stuff. Well, I'm planning on breastfeeding and I was just going to say that if you're also planning on breastfeeding, I strongly advise you to REALLY make it a point to the doctors and nurses NOT to give your baby a pacifier and/or a bottle.

How long do you stay at the hospital? Is it just over night or 2 nights or what?

I just took my ture of the hospital where I am going and they said that if its a normal vaginal diliveray then 48 hours and if its a c- section then 72 hours! And so yea I just found that out today!

Oh okay, do you think it differs from hospital to hospital? I guess it doesn't really matter I'm just curious. I've heard two days for natural delivery but some people said it's just over night if everything goes good.

I think its two days no matter what just to make sure and all that! I would want to stay longer just cause they help and all that! lol! The baby gets to stay with you, all they do is check them for about 30 min after birth and then they stay with you the whole time but there are nerses and things like that to help you while you get some kind of rest and I would want that! lol!

Looks like me and you are in the same boat. This is my first and I'm freaking out but so excited! I want to see him so bad! I dream about him all the time and I just want to be able to hold him already. The hospital I'm going to is super nice and I did my walk through like a month or two ago and I love it! My fiancee is going to be there the whole time tho so I do get to rest cause I don't like the fact that they take my baby else where.

Well they would take her to the nursry if you wanted them to but if you want them to stay in the room all you do is ask and they will. I don't know! I just know that if you don't want them to leave the room they won't. At the hospital I'm going to they put those monitors on the babies so if they do leave for any reasonthey don't leave the floor. I'm not sure if they do that everywhere but the placesI had my walk thrus did. My friend said the only time her son left the room was when he went to get circumsized.

Yea st mine they put the braclets on the baby, me and daddy, and then the baby if she leaves the areas that she shouldnt be then an alarm will go off so no one can steal my baby! lol! We have her part of the room set up, we have lots of stuff we just dont have some things but we are going to have the shower soon and we just want her to be here! lol!

Do you have a name? I think I read it but at the same time I dont remeber! lol!

Lol I don't care how much pain I'm in if someone tries to steal my baby they're getting jumped! We're staying with my mom right now cause of all these money issues so neither me and my fiancee have a room and if he happened to come early he wouldn't have one either! We're turning the garage into a new bedroom for us and we better get on it cause this little boy is not going to wait! We're naming him after his daddy, Tommy Ray Schnittker the Second. I'm not too thrilled about it but I'll learn to live. I get to name the second one lol. How about you?

Well with her being a her I got to pick the first name and he picked the middle name, we picked Charley lynne Sherburne! hehe! Cause I love Charley and always wanted to name my girl charley so I got my way but when we have a boy he will be Leo Dalton

Adn I live at home as well to save money have the help! But we do havea room its only 9x10 so its a squeeze but still its somewhere where we dont have to pay anything! lol!

Thats unique and cute! I like it, if ours was a girl I would have got to name her and it would have been Trinity Rose, thats always going to be the name, I WANT A GIRL! lol. Living at home is always awesome! lol I get to have my mom there for me for every question I have. We pay rent tho cause I think my mom is having more money problems then us. My brother and his girlfriend live here too so I have all my important family around me which I love but Tommy seems a lil blah about it. He'll get over it.

Dave, my fiance, loves my parents and so its been good, just when ever arguments happen he doesnt know where to stand up or butt out! But other than that we have been blessed and we are happy, we got 5 people in the house cause I also got a brother and he is an ass so, but yea thats funny how we got alot of shit in commen!
Cause I stopped workin abouta week, week and a half ago so I am so happy to be home and it feels awsome cause trust in a few weeks you will be so tiered!
I had it easy till about two weeks ago and then it hit the pooper! lol! I cant believe what a difference it is! lol!
Have you swollen any where? Well other than boobs lol!

Doesn't the hospital provide diapers and wipes?
