Kind of annoyed...*vent*

I'm not really mad...but I'm annoyed...and a little bothered by this. So as you may know two weeks ago my in-laws were in town and my MIL picked a fight with me...well I didn't stand there and take it, no reason I should have to in my own home. Anyway, when she left a few days later we went to lunch with them and didn't talk about it and all that was fine...whatever, I know she was still sulking but no one brought it up. So she's back this weekend, she had some tickets with southwest she had to use or lose so she came back...she's no longer allowed in our house for the time being and she's staying with his sister. I sprained my toe the other night (we decided it's not broken) so I'm not really going to be walking around and doing things with them...But I don't get why his mother hasn't really tried to see Kit yet. She got in yesterday and she STILL hasn't seen her. My husband has been out all day...he's still over at his sisters with his mom and sister....

So he had his volunteer thing this morning but got out at 11:45...His mother and sister and one of her friends met him at the museum (which is not close) just to drive back to base and take a tour of the flight line (I've seen it and I'm not interested in climbing all over with a sprained toe I only just learned to walk with) well...I was waiting and waiting for him to call and tell me what the plan was from there...I was waiting to eat lunch in case they wanted to go out and I hate waiting...I get up early with Kit so I really don't want to wait until the middle of the afternoon. I finally called him at 2...and he couldn't talk because he was driving and they were on their way to the mall, his sister went home to sleep (she works nights)...Ok, can't really walk the mall with them either...but really now...it pisses me off that he doesn't call and tell me 'Oh, we're going to go do this, so you can do whatever you like' Then I don't hear ANYTHING from him until 7:30 when he calls and says 'ok, we're going to go to Applebees for dinner, I'm going to come get you two'....yeah, not going to happen. It's a half hr before Kit's fucking bedtime, there's no way we're going out...So his mother has been here a day and a half and hasn't seen Kit yet...whatever....I can't decide if I'm more annoyed by that or the fact that I've seen my husband awake for five minutes today while he was getting dressed and that's it...and my daughter hasn't seen him except for those same 5 minutes....And she said dada in July but only once.....well lately she's been babbling more and randomly saying da...so today she started saying dada dada dada repeatedly...and he wasn't here to hear it...I'm just kind of disappointed...and annoyed...

and he just walked through the door....pfft...

a grandma should always want to see her grandbaby even if she doesnt like her DIL/SonIL
