The Prayer Post

So im bringing this back. We used to have this on here and it was really nice. If you're not religious sorry if it offends you, but don't read it ;).

So what we did was post prayer requests all in one topic when we had one so people knew where to check.

A friend of the family just lost his grandson.

His daughter was pregnant, and they found out that her little boy's heart valves were backward. So they decided it would be best to deliever him at 7 months so that they could operate. Well when they inserted the ballon to prep him for open heart surgery he stopped breathing.

So if you guys could pray for the family everyone would appericate it greatly.

Aww i don't even want to read it, but ill keep her in my prayers.

For all of our overdue mommies for some patience while they wait during this tough time!

And for our mommies currently in labor, that everything goes well and they have healthy babies!

Please pray for my good friend that just lost her 3 month old son this past week... It was the hardest thing I've had to watch, especially being pregnant, when they buried that tiny baby boy. They think he aspirated vomit, he was sleeping on his back in his crib, and by the time they got to him (about 40 minutes after they laid him down, they checked on him) he was gone. Please keep them in your prayers...  

A friend of mine is not speaking with the soon to be mother of his son due to her wishes. He was so excited about everything including changing diapers. She lives in FL (about as far as you can get away from him in WA.) and he is afraid he'll never meet his son. Pray that she gets her head on and discards the 11 year age difference enough to let him be a part of his sons life.

I pray that Mandie (2happy) had tons of fun Bdancing last night, and will get her BFP in 2 weeks.


I pray that my glucose test comes out normal on Friday.

I pray that our move coming up Oct. 8th is smooth and hassle free.

I am praying for Mandie. I really hope she gets that BFP that she deserves so much.

I am praying for all of our men and women out there who are fighting for our country.

I am praying for the families of those men and women.

I am praying for all of the children who have been done wrong. Just one is too many.

For all the new moms (and old ones too!) to have the patience to deal with whatever obstacles come in your way. For all the moms who are having breastfeeding issues because I know how hard it is and how much pain, physical and emotional, you are going through.

For mmforever to deliver a healthy baby when her time is up (because even Eric asks about you) and we are all rooting for you.
And for all the other currently pregnant moms to deliver happy, healthy babies.

im praying for everyone here. That mama's have happy safe pregnancies, that their labors go smooth, and that their babies are healthy. Im praying for the people that are fighting in wars, that are being traumatized by things they see, Im praying comfort for them. Im praying that God will open those extremists eyes to see that they are doing the wrong thing by bringing violence to this world in the name of God. Im praying that God will help those that are in any kind of pain, whether it be from losing someone or physical pain.

Well I would like for everyone to pray for me. Some of you know that in the beginning of August my grandmother passed away and I had a miscarriage the same week (I was 8 weeks along). Also about 2 weeks ago my lil one (2 yr old) broke her leg. So lately for me, when it rains it pours. Sometimes I am just fine and other days I am so grief stricken and stressed that it's unbearable.


I am praying for Mandie some baby dust, people who hate God, our country's leaders, world peace, children who are abused and unloved, my coworkers' health problems, my brother and his life/ love life/ career/etc. , all the prayer requests on here by everybody, and lots of other things.


Hope everybody has a great day. And Melliekay this was a GREAT idea for a thread! Thanks bunches...I also think it should be a sticky....it helps so much for others to lift you up in prayer and to have the opportunity to lift others up in prayer!

and please pray for my grandpa.. we just lost my grandma on the 5th of september..they were married 47 years and hes very lonely..

Please pray for my daughter, Gabriella. She has Turners Syndrome, which is caused by a missing X Chromosome. This caused her to have kidney problems, which will more then likely have to have surgery when she's about 2 years old. The more pressing issue, though, is her heart. We're currently at Children's Mercy Hospital in Kansas City, awaiting surgery for a coarctation of her aorta. We should find out today what kind of surgery they are doing, and when they are going to be doing it...it could be anything from ballooning the aorta to help open it up, to going in and actually having to reconstruct the portion of the aorta that is affected.

We knew about the problem since I was 4 months pregnant, but they were trying to avoid surgery because of her size (She was born at 6 lbs 3 oz) because it would be best for her to be bigger, but her heart problems have caused her to have difficulty eatting, because it takes so much energy for her to eat that she just gets exhausted FAST, and can't consume enough to keep up. Her heart is working WELL into overtime just to pump blood out into her body.

In addition to the problems with her aorta, she's got two small holes in her heart. They believe they will most likely close on their own with time, but in the meantime, her heart pumps already oxygenated blood back through her lungs again, which is VERY inefficent (and thus using even MORE energy, that she just doesn't have.)

Due to weight loss, they've changed her from breast milk over to a high calorie formula to help her try to gain some weight, because ANY weight she can put on before surgery is good - she's 4 oz under her birthweight now.

We found out about 12:45 today, that the surgey the will be doing is called an end to end anastomosis. We were hoping to avoid the open heart procedure, but her aorta was too narrowed for the ballooning. The surgery will be sometime early in the next week, they're working out exactly when now.
