re: September baby!

Mrsh love the hair and those glasses. I wish I could get chloe to sit in the sink, hell I do good to get her to SIT in the tub. She thinks she can stand up in it. So quick update, she wakes up in the middle of night screaming she is in bad pain and we can't figure out why. I take her to dr toady and she has bad ear infection in left ear. He gave her what I have always called the bubblegum med. It is actually amoxicillian. She seems to be doing better since I been giving her the med.
Sanya I was begining to think I smelled funny or something. Hehehe well I must go and cook dinner for hubby. Chat with u later ladies.

hey guess what????? i made the top of the page. yeah!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! how was everyones day? mine was good. not too much happened. actually it was a quite boring day. darn. tom might have some excitement to it. i will be babysitting two babies. chloe is getting more used to the one being here. she is 9 months old. i put them in the playpen together today and put some puffs in there for a snack for them and they fed each other. it was way toooo cute. well i don't have too much going on. i have to balance the checkbook and get some sleep cause i have to be up early in the morning. so i will talk to you ladies tom hopefully. good night.

Good evening ladies, checking in to see whats new here.
I pay $100 a week for part time day care, since my mom went back to work. It's not horrible, I suppose, but I have burnt right through my savings from my tax returns. I went to court today with G's dad... long story short, he only has to pay me $358 a month, he lied on how much he made, since he owns his own company, he made up 'invoices'... 358 that doesnt even cover day care!!! I had a pretty good cry about it most of the day. So now in addition to working nine hour days, it looks like I am going to have to get a second job to make ends meet. Oh well, they say this too shall pass, right?
Garrett is doing pretty good, still only has six teeth, due for more any day now, I swear this kid has had the hardest time teething. Poor guy.
He still isnt walking, but good grief canhe crawl! He likes me to chase him around the house. He is also really facinated with wheels, he likes to turn his trucks over and spin 'em.
We switched to full cows milk this last weekend, and so far so good, so that is good.
Thats about it going on in this neck of the woods.. Hope to talk to you gals soon. xoxo

Hello, how's everyone doing? I've been back to work this week and it sure is wearing me and McKenzie out already lol. But we'll make it! I actually really like my job and co-workers (since they are all the same that I used to work with) and the fact that McKenzie is just a room away having a ball makes it not too bad at all. She has started walking so much more since being in there with all the other kids that all walk so that is a plus because boy is she getting heavy! Oh yea, when we went to the ear, nose and throat doctor everything turned out fine. He pretty much said he wasn't quite sure why her doctor sent us there and got us all worked up because although she is freakishly loud sometimes lol its still pretty normal and only in severe cases would they even do anything about it. But it was still reassuring to hear from a specialist that is all is well with her. Well the cold has definitly set in as of today...our high was only in the low 50's and rainy all day. I'm freeezing! Hope you east and west coasters are enjoying your warmer temps!! Alright well I should get going. I'll try to get some new pics up soon! Take care ladies =)

Hey there mandysweetie. I have to say that this east coast moms kinda likes the weather. Of a morning it is in the 50s and the day is normally around 80s. Now this weekend it is only supposed to be in the low to mid 60s. I am not looking forward to that at all. Then on monday it right back to the 80s again so no wonder people here are sick ugh!!!! For the love of pete mother nature make up ur mind hehehe. Well off to the shower. Nite

I would kill for it to be so cold here! It has been so bloody hot and dry. I think I am turing into a raisin. Better yet, make that a dried up prune, because there ain't no way this ass of mine can be considered anything close to the smallness of a raisin. The skin on my hands is even begining to crack from the wind and dryness we have been having here. I HATE, HATE, HATE these damned Santa Ana's. I cannot wait for it to be cold again. (Well as cold as it gets here in Southern California)

Well we went to the orthopedist yesterday. They did some xrays and said everything looked okay and that they weren't going to put braces on her legs or hips. Just need to get her into some really good shoes. On one hand I am jumping for joy that my Booba's doesn' have to go through that. But on the other hand, I am a little perturbed at the Doc as well as still being concerned enough to consider getting a second opinion. The doc was rather dismissive anddisinterested. He said (and I quote, "This is the way it is for these kids. They are going to have flat feet and have weak joints.""Just afact you will have to get use to." If I hadn't been so relieved that they didn't want to put braces on, I might have pressed a bit harder and asked him, "Well don't you think it's YOUR JOB to help correct these things??" Poor little girl... when she is standing, she is practically standing on her inner ankles. Ugh! Why can't docs just once, take the parents concerns into consideration and validate them instead of blowing them off? As her mother, I just know there is something wrong with her ankles, yet my concerns are not taken seriously.

Going to check with our local Regional Center and see if maybe they will see her for a second opinion. Will let you all know how that goes.

Lisa...you are going to have to teach your little lady to share...lol!! I have read that our little one aren't quite ready for the sharing thing yet and that they don't quite get the concept yet. Shoot this little 4 year old that i watch doen't like to share either and likes to take things away from her but hes learning.

Hey there I wish I could teach her to share and potty train hehe. Actually we have been working on sharing and she is getting a lil better. But I am sure probably next month she will forget all about it and be right back to hording all her toys. ugh...shut up, i cant even go outside cuz its too cold for her. I have so many leaves to blow its driving me nuts!!!!! I think i may try potty training next summer...at least thats the plan for now.

heeeeeeellllllllllllllooooooooo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! sorry i have been checking in and reading the posts on here. chloe seems to be getting over her ear infection. i don't know if i told you or not but chloe has cut the first tooth in aug and she has two more that has broke through and is working on the 4th one. yeah. so she doesnt really want to eat reg table food and i don't know why. i will put it in her mouth and she will spit it right back out. makes me so darn mad. i bought her some of the gerber lil entrees, so far she seems to like them. i also bought reg applesauce and the containers of fruit(diced peaches, pears) for the first couple dys she would eat them and now she spits them out as well. and she not too big on veggies either. please tell me this is a phase and it will pass soon. she has too eat. well she will eat yogurt and pasta. but i not sure that you can survivie on those two foods. she is doing really well with the whole milk. so any suggestions ladies i am open to anything at this point. friday we are going to try and take some pics since we haven't been able to get her 1yr pics done cause she just had to have the stupid chic pox lol!!! i want to do some fall/harvest pics with pumpkins and hay and that funny colored corn. then we are going to try and do some family pics. a friend of ours takes pics he is going to school for it and does a really great job so he is going to do them. plus i think having someone do them like this looks more natural than going to sears etc. well i should go pay some bills while the kids are sleeping. be back later.

Good Morning Ladies!

Been on and off reading and lightly posting. Afraid I have been pretty busy with Kelly and other things.

I am ashamed to admit that I have totally fell off the weight losschallenge and have not sent my money yet. Things have been really tight around here since buying the house. But I will get it sent off either this or next week.

Kelly was quite a handful yesterday and has kept me hopping for the last few weeks. Plus I am looking for work. I didn't think it would be this hard to find a job. But I guess I should have expected it since the economy is in such a toilet and I have such time constraints of when I can and can't work. Craig and I were considering putting her in daycare, but decided against it because she has developed this adversion to other people. Even my in-laws.

Things have also been pretty tense between hubbs and myself. And it all boils down to money... or the lack of it. I love my husband very much, but he is getting ready to get a forced labotomy if things don't change soon. I know he is stressed about bills, the mortgage, and money issues in general. I am too. But his attitude and behaviour is making me nuts. Okay enough of my pity party...

How is everyone else doing? How big are the kiddos getting? I am dying to see new pics of them all.

Also, in case you are interested and I cant remember if I mentioned it before... There is another thread for kiddos that are the same age as ours. It is in parents with toddlers. Aggiemommy and Jamils mom is there and they are quite a chatty group. I have been on there for awhile now and they are some great mommas if you wanna spend some more time chatting.
