re: September baby!

Lol nice! Nothing beats cheap stuff let me tell you! McKenzie likes to play with things she can't normally have so when things like the Gerber fruit puffs are gone I'll wash the container and give it to her. She thinks it's so cool because its not a toy. Or we have these plastic storage things for pens that I let her play with and she just gets so excited. Probably not good to encourage her to play with things like that but hey, it keeps her interested for a while and they didn't cost much since they were just laying around!

OK Oh NO #4...I'm starting to worry about McKenzie LOL She says "dadada" for everything. We try ALL the time to do "bye bye" and "hi" and "momma" but she just looks at you and says "dada." Is this normal for her to not be talking like at all yet? And how close are your guys' little ones to walking? McKenzie will pull her self up to furniture but will not walk along it. If she sees something she wants she will get down and crawl over and then pull her self back up. I just worry about things a lot and lately her development worries me. My mom tells me to just let her be and she will develop at her own pace but its like everyone I know with babies her age or even younger are doing things she's not even close to doing. She waves now though so theres something new I guess!

i agree with your mom. she will do all of it when she is ready. just like chloe still don't have the first tooth in her head. and at first i was worried but how many toothless kids do you see walking around. so she is not going to crawl forever lol!! don't worry, i wouldn't.

mandysweetie...nothing to worry about! My two two boys were the same way. It took them a little longer to catch on. Aryah will walk along furniture but i think we are at least a month away from walking and to tell you the truth the longer the better. She getts into everything and i cant keep up with her with her just crawling.

oh yea chloe is not walking but she will pull up to the couch and stuff and sometimes we will catch her moving along them but like oh no i think we are still a while away from walking on her on. which i am kinda excited about cause she is getting to heavy to keep carrying around lol!!! i bet she weighs about 22lbs or more. it is nuts

Yea I know she'll do everything at her own pace. I don't know why I'm rushing it anyways, they are only this little once and once they learn to do that stuff it never ends! Thanks for the reassurance though ladies! I forgot about Chloe not having teeth yet so I guess thats one thing that McKenzie has not been slow with. She has 6 and possibly 2 more coming in real soon. And boy do they hurt when she bites with them!! Dentures for a baby...that would be interesting! She'd probably just pull them out and play with them!

well ladies i have had a blast posting on here today. it was almost like a race to see who posted first. thanks sanya.!!!! i am going to have a bowl of cereal and then i am off to bed. i just haven't felt good today or for the past few dys. so hopefully i will talk to you ladies tom.

Can you ladies stop talking about your bubs crawling and walking! Even rolling over!!!!!!!!!lol. Ashton still hasnt crawled yet! It makes me so mad.lol. I think its just cause he is so chubby! All he does is roll from back to front AND THATS IT! 1 movement!
I can just imagine Ashton being school aged and still in his walker!.lol. Soon ladies soon! BUT at least he has 6 teeth!lol

since chloe has gotten more mobile she is in the play pen more. i know that sounds crazy but i can't leave her alone in the living room while i trying to do house work. plus it keeps his parents from coming in the living room lol!!!

McKenzie hated her pack-n-play once she could start crawling around so we bought her the big play area that is basically 6 baby gates put together. She loves it. It has so much more room for her to actually move around in. Now one of her favorite things to do is throw out alllll of her toys and watch mommy come over and put them all back in, just so she can do it all over! LOL

chloe loves to do that in her playpen. and sometimes i will put her in her crib to play while i shower and clean in her room and she will throw out all the toys to watch me search for them.

Shower????? Whats that??? Is that nice? Its been so long since I've had a nice long shower! And the sad thing is that we built an extention when I was preggo and I made sure that we got a double sized shower in our ensuit but do you think that I have really gotten to enjoy it!lol.

while she was a new born i would wait till she went to bed to take a shower. and since she is older i will put her in her bed and put alot of toys in there for her to play with and i take my baby monitor in the bathroom and she plays her little heart out. lol!! oh and yes showers are great i love the hot water lol!
