My due date is September 1st and it is going to be my first child. Two day ago, I spotted but it was a brownish pinkish color. Did this happen to anyone?

Brownish pink is ok as long as its not bright red blood. Well that is what i have been told.

I hope this helps

It was bright red but not really red it was more like a pinkish color then it turned into a brownish pink color. It was not a lot of blood though. My doctor told me that it was old blood but still schedule an ultrasound visit for me and that freaked me out .

Don't let it freak you out, it will just be to double check everythings ok.

Try not to get stressed as you will make yourself ill.

Let me know how it goes. When is the scan booked for?

Hi my name is Danni, I'm 17 and I'm just over 6 weeks pregnant (according to my last period) so I'm due early September. I'm not completely convinced that I'm pregnant, even though I've taken four pregnancy tests and they were all positive. I haven't had any morning sickness, sore nipples or any of the other pregnancy syptoms I've read about and I'm worried that I've upset my parents for no reason.

Hi Danni,

I think you should just consider yourself lucky that you haven't had any symptoms. Only 85% of women do, or you may just get them later on, but certainly don't let it worry you.

You pregnancy tests are 99% more likly to be wrong when saying negative than when saying positive.

How did your parents take it? I'm 23 and my parents took it quite badly too (although i am an adult) they are getting used to now though. If you don't mind me asking, are you still with the father?

My parents were ok, I think they're a little dissapointed but they tried not to show it. My dad said that as long as I'm ok he's ok and my stepmom was fine and started telling me about pregnancy and that I'll have to go to the doctors and all that. I haven't told my mom yet, I don't live with her so she doesn't espescially need to know, and I don't see her very often, I think I'll tell her after my first scan so that I know everything is ok. I know she's going to be quite upset because she's only 37 and last time I spoke to her on the phone she told me not to make her a grandmother until she's at least 50!
I'm not with the father anymore, but we are very close friends and when I told him he said that he'll support me whatever I want to do. When I told him I wanted to keep the baby he said that's what he wanted from the moment I first told him but he didn't want to pressure me.

My Parents asked me not to make them grandparents till they were 60 ha! but they are both in thier mid fifties.

Me and the father have been together as long as i have been pregnant, so it happened the first time we had sex. I feel very lucky really as alot of people spend years trying to have a baby and it would be selfish of me to be anything other than thrilled.
As long as you have the support of your family i'm sure you will be fine.

Whereabouts in the UK are you from?

That's why I'm not convinced I'm pregnant, because so many people try for years to concieve, I was on the pill and all I did was miss one and take one a little later than I normally did and now I'm pregnant, it can't be that easy to concieve. But I guess everyone is different, or maybe this was meant to be.
I know I'll be fine with the support of my family, we are all so close even though we are not all blood related (my stepfamily I mean)

I live in Tamworth, it's a town in the midlands, not far from Birmingham. Where in the UK are u?

Hello. My name is Noelle, and I am 24 married, with a 3 year old spoiled rotten daughter who thinks that she is really a princess. I just found out Sunday that I am pregnant and according to EVERYTHING I am due Sept 14. Of course if I can hold off about 11 days, I can have the baby on my mom's 50th birthday. My daughter was born 2 days after my mom and dad's 20th wedding anniversary because of the terrible care I had where I was living when she was born. I do not live there now, so I hope that we will not have the same problems. I am currently in Jacksonville, NC and if there is anyone else around that is due around the same time..... I love to talk, I have nothing better to do..... send me an email. I think it is on here. I will figure something out though lol.

Hi!! I have taken 4 pregnancy tests and they were all positive. I just wanted to make sure and I am not sure it still has hit me. I have one daughter that will be 3 in April. She doesn't want mommy to have a baby in her belly she wants a baby in hers   I cant get into the doctor until Jan 30th. But I think my last LMP was Dec 6th so that would make me due around Sept 13th. The thing is I am not sure how long my cycles are cause I just got off the pill on Nov 1st and than I only had one period before I got pregnant and that was 35 days...so who knows? I just wished I could go to the doctor already..........And I would like to get my prenatals right away, does anyone know if walmart sells them? I am sure they do, walmart has everything........

I'm 6 weeks, due Sept. 4. Everyone is different but you will usually have sore breasts, "growing" cramps, back pain and fatigue. My first preg., I was VERY sick from 8 weeks - 5 months. Then, from 5 - 7 1/2 months, I felt my best!! I was happy, felt beautiful and laughed a lot. I think the worst is closer to your due date. Not only are you ready to see the baby..but you are so tired, can't get comfortable in bed, parts of you go numb --from carrying around all the weight and achey feet. I lived in the bath..with epsom salt or bath oil. Relax and pamper yourself. You will do fine. I, also did Yoga and it worked wonders!! Oh and the greatest advice I got was (if you think you are going into labor) try to postpone going to the hospital as much as you can. Walk, take a bath, "try to relax" to get your mind off the contractions. It makes the labor a shorter process. I'm telling you... it HELPS! Eventhough, my labor was 7 hours..it's way better than 12 or 14!!
