Easter basket for a 15 month old.....

posted 2nd Apr '10
So my son and I are going to Orlando for the weekend to spend Easter with my best friend and her little girl. So excited   Well last year my LO was too young to do anything but this year he's going to an Easter Egg hunt and everything   So I got him an Easter basket but what should I put in it? I got him a stuffed bunny and some of those plastic eggs and I want to put something in it other than candy that he can't eat.

Anyone doing this for a baby this age? What are you putting in their basket? I was thinking raisins in the pastic eggs cause he loves them.   Lets share ideas!

I got little frisbees from the dollar store for his basket. I also got a couple bigger toys like a ball that won't fit in his basket. I also think I am going to get him a coloring book since he likes to color. I didn't know what else to do.

My son is 18 months.. he's getting 2 things of candy but he'll only have a couple tastes of them  ... the rest of his things are bubbles, board books, a stuffed bunny, sidewalk chalk, rub on tattoos, other little random toys that cost like a buck or 2! ... you could do crayons and a coloring book, some spring time outside toys (like balls and such) also

Mini=marshmellows - but you still have to watch him when he eats them as it's better than many candies but still a choking hazzard.

Last year Aiden was around 6 months old on Easter and we bought him this really cute basket that looked like a monkey and in it we put some binkies, a little rattle toy thingy, a teether, a new Easter outfit (to wear to dinner that night), some plastic eggs (empty, just to play with), a few small books and a Baby Einstein's DVD.

He still plays with the basket to this day, he loves that thing lol. It came out looking really cute too. And only ended up costing us like $20, aside from the DVD which was actually a gift from my dad.

This year he's really into cars so we're going to get him a few little ones, another outfit and a DVD with some more plastic eggs. Not sure if we're going to put anything in them or not.

my son was 3 months old for his first Easter and I made him a basket with teething toys, rattles and some dvds. This yr he is 15 months old and I got him some plastic eggs, a Yo Gabba Gabba book and some cars. Fisher Price has some cute Easter little People sets at Target. I gave him his first jellybean today and he liked it. I may put some gerber puffs in his basket too.
