Lol thanks. He's for sure coming home Tuesday now as long as nothing changes(which it shouldn't). They JUST told me I have to take a cpr class before he goes home and the next one is Wednesday so they're trying to get someone to come in and teach me before then. Also we just moved TODAY so the new apartment is a disaster right now and we need to have everything straightened out and cleaned up tomorrow because they're coming Monday to set up all his oxygen stuff. This is still so surreal! I don't believe it

How exciting   ill teach u infant CPR over the net. It's so easy. They didn't make us take it but I already have it for work so maybe that's why idk. They'll do a car seat test too probably.

Yeah I have to be CPR certified for my job and the classes teaches cpr for infants in it but they said that doesn't count.

Hi ladies, hope you don't mind me joining in. My name is Heather & I had my daughter at 34 weeks & 3 days back in October. She will be 5 months old on the 16th. I look forward to chatting with you guys!

Hi! I have a 34weeker about to be two months on the 19.

Welcome new mamas!!

My LG was born 36 weeks but was perfect  
We had to stay in for 4 days because she was jaundice but she soon fought back and is now 15 months old.
She has had a few illness which are common in prem babies, but she is perfectly healthy and learning how to climb on tables  

Just wanted to let everyone know Creedence is doing great! This is our 3rd day home and the feeling of having him here after 5 1/2 weeks in NICU is indescribable. Wednesday he measured 5lb 4oz and 18inches! Up from 2lb 14 oz and 14 inches, he's done a lot of growing!
He is also 6 weeks old today.
Having him home on oxygen isn't that bad, it's the traveling that's hard especially all the doctors appointments he has and I have to lug him in his carseat, a diaper bag, oxygen tank, monitor(that's in a separte case) and my older son who will be 3 in a few weeks. I try to only schedule 1 appointment per day because to me it's easier that way.
And I woke up yesterday with a cold  
Also Creedence might have some hearing problems. He has failed both hearing tests so far and we have another one in 2 weeks. Since they mentioned it to me a few days ago, I've been experimenting and I've realized the kid does not even flinch for ANY loud noise even if I scream right in his ear while he's sleeping. So...I'm thinking he may be deaf. Even if he had amniotic fluid(which is why they told me he could be failing) in there he would still hear really loud noises close to his ear ya know?

I'm glad he's doing so well at home and you're all adjusting.

I'm sorry he's got hearing issues. Hopefully it's all figured out.

i miss my lil man being tht young now he 9 months an crawling all over the house an trys to climb the steps

For the mom's who had littles one at 34 weeks when did they start doing things like sitting up, crawling, & etc? I know every infant does different things at different rates so just curious.
