I just saw this & I am so happy that your preemie is doing so well! Mine was born at 32 weeks & 4 days due to my having severe pre-e. He just turned 1 on November 18th, & each day he amazes me. Of course, I still worry about certain stuff & his height & weight, but I know he may or may not catch up. Atleast he is here & healthy. <3

Small update on Chrissy!
They are going to leave the stitch in until at least Monday as long as she stays steady. She isn't bleeding or contracting at this point.

Everyday counts! Still thinking and praying for you both!

Bub had his 2 month adjusted check up the other day. He's doing about 95% of the stuff that's recommended for babies 2 months old. He's not quite trying to reach for things yet, and he doesn't really like tummy time so he's not wanting to his his head up. He does it on my chest when I lay flat, but won't on the floor lol.

He is, however, doing a few things that they look for at 4 months, so I'm not overly concerned.

My name is Erin. I was due on October 13th 2012 but instead my little Mason Anthony came into the world on August 25th 2012 at exactly 33 weeks via c-section. He was 4lbs 11oz and 17 1/2 in at birth and now, 4 months later, he is roughly 12lbs and 25in!!! He is growing beautifully and fast! I can't believe looking at pictures of his first day of life that he is the same baby now. My water broke due to a urinary tract infection and bacterial vaginosis causing my uterus to contract. The doctors put me on precardyia to stop the contractions while I was in the hospital five days before he was born but nothing was stopping him. He is beautiful and everything that I could ever ask for in the world. I never knew how much love I could possess for another human being. I am grateful that he chose me. Love my little boy with everything I have.

My name is Samantha Richard. I was due Jan 7th 2013 but my son decided to come at 35wks 1 day. I started having contractions at 32 wks but the doctors gave me a shot and sent me on my way. At 34wks 3 days I was having contractions but not severe I went to the hospital due to bleeding. They checked my placenta and just said it was low but no major risk. At 35 wks 1 day (not even a week after being seen) I went to the hospital due to major bleeding. Later that day I delivered my baby boy who turned out to be 5lbs 15.2 oz 18in. reason for bleeding- had a ad-rupture in my placenta. He had breathing problems and was sent to NICU. There he was for two day and then got jaundice real bad so he was in lights for 3 days. I was discharged and stayed at the Ronald Mcdonald house and there I met very strong mothers (who most have had preemies). After a week of not having him, he is now home with no problems as I can tell. Thanks for making this chat!
