I havent been on gaga in FOREVER!
Just a quick update on my 29 weeker 2 lb baby. She is 3 1/2 now and is SUPER smart. Her pedi said she knows everything she needs to know for kindergarten. She can spell her name, knows all of the ABCs and their sounds, can count to 50 in English and 10 in Spainish, she knows 40 of the 50 states and where they are (she can point them out on a map), she is learning sight words and can sound out words, she can add and subtract..she is PERFECT! Tiny still..about 27 lbs but thats it. She was such a fighter..brain bleed, ROP, NEC, she didnt sit up til 9 months old and they told me she was going to have learning disabilities..little did they know huh?
To all of you new preemie moms..dont give up hope. The drs arent always right and Bella is a perfect example of that.

Update on my girl!
Born 29 weeks, around 2lb 12oz. She turned 4 on the 2nd November. She will be attending Kinder next year she knows her ABC's, can count to 41 in English, count to 10 in Spanish & 21 in Dutch!. She has been fully toilet trained for the last 12 months! She has been doing Ballet for 6 months now & LOVES it! She's 107cm tall & weighs 17kgs. She has been able to write her first name for about a year now she knows how to spell everyday words like. "Mum, Dad, Nan, Pop, Cat, Dog, Hailee..etc". She can also do simple math - 1 + 1 = 2, 2 + 2 = 4. Yes she will be the youngest of her group BUT she is one of the soar test on her Pre-kinder class
I am so unbelievably proud of her!!!!!

How old, adjusted age, was your bebe when they slept through the night for the first time?
Mine just slept from roughly around 11:30 to 7! He is 3 months old, 2 months adjusted.
He nursed for 20 minutes and he's back to sleep lol.

My lil man Nathan was born at 33 weeks 6 days due to my severe case of pre-eclampsia. He was 4lbs 8.8oz 18 inches long and the only help he ever needed was a feeding tube after a week trying to do it on his own. Spent one day shy of 3 weeks in the hospital and has been home a week now. He is almost 4 weeks old and doing amazingly! He weighs a whopping 5lbs 13oz now and he eats like a pro. After 2 losses early in the pregnancy, he is truly our little miracle! Tiny but perfect! You cant ask for a sweeter boy!!

Quoting Love Wedge +2:" What does that do?"
Gravity works against us ladies with incompetent cervix so it can take some of the pressure off the cervix.

25 weeks but she went in at 22 wks with the bag bulging. She is already 2 weeks further than she was when her issues with Lily started so let's hope she can go a few more weeks like she did with her! I am keeping in touch via text so when I hear anything I will let y'all know.
Last update she got her first shot and they are holding out on removing the stitch until Friday.
