Yeah, their formula might not be that bad but the way I see it i'll try my darndest to not support people who treat their employees as if Wal-Mart IS their life. They get so bent outta shape if HEAVEN FORBID a family member dies or your growing a living being inside you. *grumble grumble*

I am also DONE with big corporation/ retail shit.

thank you for the chart. i am always arguing with Daddy about how much she needs to eat. he thinks she eats too much. she does spit up allot and i don't know if it's the formula. we have been trying different formulas and i think we try Soy next but we are waiting for her next Doctor's appointment just to be sure.

Camaya is 8 weeks, 1 day old now... still only eating 3 oz every 3 hours...

does this seem like its too little? I really want to feed her more than that...but When we give her more than 3 oz shes vomits a lot veryy easily....sometimes its to the point where she throws up more than she can actually keep down.

i feel so bad because she cries everytime we take her bottle away to burp her. She's ALWAYS hungry.

my son is 2 weeks today and is already eating 4-5 oz about every 3-4 hours. occassionally, he'll drink 3 oz and fall asleep and sometimes he'll want to eat every 2 hours and still about 5 oz!! he seems to hold it down well w/ the occassional spit up here and there but other than that, he's fine. i asked his DR. about it and she said to just let him eat whenever he wants to right now.

Cora is startin to eat less.I don't know what it is but she barely finishes a 4 oz bottle and she never acts hungry. She is just over 4 months. She eats one jar of solid food a day. Is it normal for her to not be interested in eating?

If she's eating a jar of solid food a day at 4 months old, I think she's plenty full! Mine only ate about 3 oz of their bottle at that age and they didnt get any solids.

I wasn't too sure if any one has mentioned this.. but I was wondering if anyone's babiesare onsoy and considering switching to regular formula? Only reason is it going to be difficult when he gets older to drink regular milk? Just curious.. let me know what you ladies think

my baby is 3 weeks old and I was wondering if I was using the right nipple for her. We are using playtex and everytime she eats, the formula squirts out the side of her mouth making a big mess! We received a Dr. Browns bottle as a present and I have tried it with her and she seems to do better but it's almost as if she has problems with it. I just dont know what to try with her that will work best not to mention the money involved with buying bottles!

I work in a daycare and i would say that is about right but usually the babies are eating every 3 to 4 hours. What does her doctor say about it?

Are you doing like the infant rice cereal as a separate feeding or even some baby food as well? If not it may just be time for her to start. I really dont know but that would be my best guess. It would at least be worth a try. Good luck I'm sure it will work it's self out.

I just found this thread! Wondeful. I was breastfeeding for the first month& I was alsosupplimenting with formula. We are now 100% fomula feeding.
We are in the process of switching Gaffins formula from Nestle Good Start with natural Cultures to Baby's Only Organic Formula.
He also gets a little bit of cereal once a day. I am starting to see him eat more now.
He eats like every 2-3 hours at daycare and at home he eats like every 3-4 hours. Not really sure why he does that.
