Quoting just-a-mom:“ That's the formula that Audrey uses. I haven't had too much of the hard poop, but yesterday, it was ... [snip!] ... and not getting rid of it.... Good luck!”ya i am going to try that..she seems like she is eating all the time so im going to regulate with water..thanks for all the great advice ladies=)
Quoting shoelais:“ How long will it usually take for my milk to dry up and chest to stop hurting? And will icing them down ... [snip!] ... would just stimulate your nipples and make your body produce more..? Don't hate me if this has been asked too frequently. =/”I just kept pumping less and less a day that eventually I pumped omce a day for a few days, and then I stopped. It never hurt. And I'm pretty sure warm water stimulates milk production...not cold.
Quoting PrincessSara:“ Ok I need some help here. Some info to get started.. Lilly is 6 weeks old on soy based formula and ... [snip!] ... I am just repeating myself in a call for distress now.... Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks so much!”
Quoting Kelly56:“ That is exactly how Cora used to be. We switched to Similac Alimentum and it's made a world of difference. ... [snip!] ... for the constipation every few days until she get's the "hang" of it. It worked for Cora... maybe it'll work for you.”Thanks for your advice! We actually switched her to the alimentum tonight, so we will see how she does. For her sake I pray it works. It did with my other two kids. Anyway thanks again.
Quoting Kelly56:“ Lately, Cora is a freakin PIGGY! She used to eat 4 oz every 5-6 hours, but now she wants 4 oz every 3 ... [snip!] ... in a single feeding. Any tips on how to make her last long between feeds? She is on Alimentum and is almost 3 months old.”
Quoting Samantha's Mommie:“ When my daughter was switched to Alimentum I started introducing baby food to keep her full I would ... [snip!] ... it wont work over night it will take some time to get her to eat baby food she will start to spit it out the first few days.”
Quoting *auzzysgirl*:“ Hello ladies, I have a question for you. My son is 13 days old and he already is a little pigglet! He ... [snip!] ... 4 hours on the dot, and this one starts being hungry after 3 hours, sometimes even before that. I guess they're all different!”
Quoting Metal_Momma:“ I too was wondering about the feeding chart as well... My son is 9 days old, and we started out BFing, ... [snip!] ... sooner? My mom says I was 8lbs5oz (though 23 years ago that was huge, apparently) and she was giving me cereal at two weeks.”
