my LO was the same way w spitting up. they suggested that i try and keep him upright as much as possible for about 30mins right after eating. that helped. you may also want to try burping him after each ounce or even half ounce if it persists. We ended up changing formula later due to other compliations. hes started back spitting up now and is 16wks. We go tomorrow to possibly be put on a sinus medication and or possibly change formula. the doc may also recommend enfamil AR but im not sure if they will at such a young age. but all in all babies spit up. he may outgrow it in a few days

Dr put him on Enfamil infant instead of newborn. First day of trying that will be at next feeding. i hope it works. He gained weight though. Was 7 lbs 12 ounces at birth and now is 8 lbs 2 ounces.

I always fed on demand and never woke my LO up.

My 2 week old is on the enfamil prosobee, it makes her really constipated. Has anyone else had this problem with their LO being on the prosobee? What did you do to help it?

how long does ready to use formula keep in bottles in the fridge? I've been seperating out 3 bottles, 1oz each for her, if she eats any more than that she spits up so kindof works out well.. just wondering how long I can keep the bottles I make from the ready to use in the fridge? how about at room temperature?

I believe 24 hours. It should say on the container it came in. Room temp no more than a hour.

The ready to use formula stays good for 48 hours and prepared formula from powder is 24 hours.

Quoting *Tracy*:" You dont have to warm it, all of my sons bottles are room temp. If you are out and you are using bottled breast milk, you dont have to keep it chilled, it stays fresh for 10 hours in room temp."

I was told at the hospital breast milk only stays good for 5-6 hours, after that toss it. Everything I've read showed breast milk was only good for 3-4 hours. I kept mine chilled if we were out with an ice pack in the diaper bag. Any of the pre packaged formula we kept room temperature but tossed it after no more then 2 hours. My son Lucas will take his milk cold or room temperature, he doesnt seem to care either way.

My breastfed DD loves the Tommee Tippee bottles! She will take the other bottles, but would prefer the Tommee Tippee.

How many ounces should my six, almost seven month old be eating? I was told by WIC that she should be eating a lot more. At least three to four bottles a day. I don't force her to eating every two hours like they say. She eats when she wants to, and however much she wants. Am I suppose to feed her more than three bottles, and should I force her to eat when she doesn't want to, like they say? She seems perfectly healthy to me, but this is only my first child so I have no clue. :c

I don't really know what kind of WIC office you go to lol Here they say I'm doing awesome, and to not force my baby to eat every 2 hours anymore. He's 2 months and tells me when he's hungry by throwing a fit and sucking his hand. That could be anywhere from 3 to 4 hours and during the night 4 to 6 hours. He eats 3 and a half ounces. I continued the feeding him 2 hours for a while until he threw up ALL OVER the place and come to find out I was supposed to stop the whole 2 hour feedings for him already, he will let me know when he's hungry. Every baby is different no one can tell you when your baby should and will be hungry. I say just feed your baby when she's hungry don't force it every 2 hours,if she's not hungry then she's not hungry. But if she still gets hungry every 2 hours then go ahead and feed her. As long as a child doesn't over eat and gets what they need I see nothing wrong with it.

That's what I had told them. She eats when she wants, but they say she should be eating more than 3 bottles a day. I guess they have a set of rules for a child. :/

What I've noticed about some WIC places is that they love to tell mothers what they think their child wants. To me usually the mother will know what their child wants not a stranger lol. IMO if your baby is happy with her feedings then leave her feedings the same, she will tell you if she needs more.
