My LO was eating 3 ounces by that time. Let her what she wants, as long as she's not projectile vomitting you will be fine.

at a bit older than that, our pedi told us that 1 ounce for every hour in the day was a good amount for her to be eating. She would eat 2-3 ounces in a bottle every 2-3 hours.

she has had a couple projectile vomitting and my old pedi changed her formula to Similac Isomil advance, but she still spits up. they wanted to do a reflux test but we had to change pedis & she said that she was gonna cancel it because she thinks she's doing that because we're overfeeding her.

My little ones are taking a hypoallergenic formula since they have skin asthma. This type of formula is best for babies who has a tendency of having allergies. Most allergies are genetically transferred, so you will need to check with the paternal and maternal sides for tendencies.

I have a 3 week old son. Yesterday, I started him on Similac Isomil Advance, he gets that every other feeding, and I nurse him the rest of the time. He hasn't pooped at all today, and normally he does after every feeding. Is this just him getting used to the formula? Or does it sound like he is constipated? Just curious what is going on? let me know!

He's probably just getting used to the formula and it can take a few days before he starts to become regular again. Just watch out for stomach pain, lots of straining, etc.
I would say if it becomes an issue after like 3 days or so, call your pedi.
You can try stimulating his rectum a little as well, sometimes that helps.

You can, but it is a very hard thing to do to keep your supply up. I'd suggest talking to the folks in the Breastfeeding thread. There are women there who exclusively pumped who can give you some feedback on it:

Alright, question for y'all. Elizabeth is being a bit of a booger when it comes to taking her bottle now. She takes a few sucks, cry's and fusses, takes a few sucks, cry and fuss, etc. etc. etc. This goes on for about 15 minutes before she gives in and eats some, and then she starts doing this again towards the end. Ideas? How do I fix it??

Ok, didn't work...She only takes Playtex drop-ins, so I had hubby pick up a pack of fast flow nipples yesterday and they are slower than the one nipple she uses......

How old is she? I don't know about the Playtex ones, but I use Dr. Brown's and they have nipple sizes. Size 1 is 0-3 months, 2 is 3-6 months, 3 is 6-9 months, etc. Are you sure you got the right size for her?

She's 4 months. the drop in nipples in laytex (all she'll take) only come in slow or fast. She'd been eating slow and then I found a slow nipple that was faster than the other ones and then the fast ones are slower than that particular one...she's refusing to eat at all this morning. She's been up for nearly 3 hours and hasn't eaten anything.
