Allergic reaction?

posted 10th Mar
I made some glazed apples earlier that had cinnamon in them.
She has never had cinnamon before and I just noticed she has red blotches all over her face and more are appearing.

Does this sound like a allergic reaction? If so WTF do I do?
She has never had a allergic reaction before.

Are they on her face?
If so take her to urgent care or the ER

If it doesn't itch not much you can do. Try Benadryl (sorry for mis spelling) though my son is allergic to fresh strawberries but other than a few spots here and there it does not bother him.

Just because they're on her face you dont need to.
Liv has severe food allergies. Give her some benadryl. Watch her extremely closely. If her throat isnt closing up, her tongue isnt swelling, she's acting fine, and has no fever, no need to go thte ER.

if they are on her face....
Id take her in.
It can cause her to stop breathing.
I was always told if you get "hives" which sounds like she has,) take anyone to the ER. I would take her if she was my daughter

I think it's very rare to be allergic to cinnamon.

But I would just give her some Benadryl and watch her. Really bad reactions are going to happen within minutes of eating something.

Let us know what happens!

My son reacts to fresh cinnimon like that, only when it touched his skin. The blotchesalways go away w/oin a few min.

(I obviously dont give him cinnimon anymore, at all) Which is a bummer.
