can and do Prenatals change your BMs from the color to the consitency?

i was constiped for about a week. (turns out i was knocked up). started taking my prenatals about a week ago and now, my poo is BLACK... and its not even near solid.  

I didnt take prenatals with my daughter, so i really have no idea if this is normal or not.. and the tub of pills says nothing about this.


i feel so dumb for all asking all these questions.

Yes. The iron in the prenatals will darken your poops.

Pregnancy in general will change your bowel movements...it's one of the joys of expecting.
