Thanks for the advice! And yea for about a month he wanted to play with the unused nipple, and then for a bit he liked to run my chest and other boob, which that didn't bother me, but playing with my nipple did. Thank goodness that was a phase, now he is switching back and forth constantly and pulling my bra strap or tank top strap. He always wants to pull my hair. But i will have to try these things. Thanks!

We made it to 5 weeks!   and to think, I was so close to giving up before 2 weeks. I know it's not that long compared to a lot of you, but I feel like we passed the hump and it's smooth sailing from here.

the first 2-6 weeks are usually the hardest part. that is a great accomplishment!

I don't know about this baby sometimes.

He'll be nursing and get tired. Instead of just falling asleep like a normal baby, he'll start fussing, pulling at my breast, pinching me and crying.

Is that normal or am I just lucky lol.

It's normal behavior & you are lucky because you happened to get one who does that. ;) Not all do, but some do. I would say lucky! I've been trying not to put the babes to bed on the boob but so far have had no luck  

Has anyone had to pin their baby's arms down when they nurse?

Bub likes to kneed and push on my breast when he nurses but it'll break the latch, then he gets mad because I have to correct it, and he fusses and it becomes a whole thing.

As annoying as it is- the extra stimulation of kneading & such can actually trigger another let down   A nursing necklace for baby to.play with has really helped me curb some of the boobie violence lol

I've been staying engorged for some reason. Im trying to pump but it doesn't seem to be emptying my breasts completely. Most of the time I have to use compression. Is this normal? Im also worried im only getting 5-6 oz out if each breast. I used to get upwards of 10-12! My sons being satisfied so what's going on? Why am I not able to empty my breasts?

Im going to school full time. But also Im so engorged if I don't I hurt.
