Quoting Lady Anon:" Some babies are just small. IMO if he has enough wet diapers then he is doing well."I agree, but sadly my opinion right now doesn't seem to matter.
Quoting Rumpelstiltskin:" How much sunlight does an infant need to prevent or help jaundice? Lucia is only a few days old and it's pretty cold out. "
Quoting Mama❍Moon:" you can use the sun coming in thru the windows. About 10 minutes a day I think?"

Breastmilk digests within 2 hrs time, so after 2 hrs his tummy should be empty & he should be receptive to eating & that will up calorie & fat intake & should increase weight gain. It is probably not necessary - but I would certainly do that before relenting to a Dr telling me to supplement. It is actually more typical for a breastfed baby to cue to eat every 2 anyway - so likely he will start to do that soon on his own anyway. Some babies are a little lazier about eating in the first couple of weeks, but they tend to pick up. There is a growth spurt around 3 weeks, so do whatever you can NOT to be supplementing at that time or you'll have a bitch of a time trying to ever catch up after that & get back on track.
