I meant so she doesnt slide around. DS still gets bathed in his bath chair because he slides around. I want to get him out of the chair but not sure what to put in the bottom so he doesnt slide.

What about those non-slip things you can buy that stick to the bottom of the tub? Or the mats?

We use breastflow bottles from First year. She seems to like those okay, I have also heard Tommy teepee of whatever they are called. LOL

No she doesn't slide too bad which is why we haven't yet, but I also don't fill the tub very much. Brooke actually learned to crawl in the bath tub.

Ill try tonight and see if he slides. Its been awhile. The bath chair makes things difficult.

How old is he? I have never put anything in the tub nor used a chair. DS loves to crawl around and play in the tub. I just never fill it too much and kneel right down next to him.

If he can sit up well and move around and all that i think he should be good. But that also depends on how much you fill the tub too.

Dude I have NEVER used one of those bath chairs! If he can sit up he'll be fine, I'd get a non-slip mat (doesn't have to be a baby specific one) and never ever leave him unattended (which is common sense anyway!). He'll have more fun that way too! you don't need to fill the bath very full, either.

We bought those little non slip stickers made by 3M. They are duck and whale shaped. Covered the bottom of our tub because it's so slippery. J always gets up and walks around in the tub.

Quoting M♥mmyD11312:" What is block feeding?"
Block feeding is using none breast per feed for any specified period of time. Most often it is just a 2 hr block - but if oversupply is an issue or overactive letdown, some do 4 hrs. I always did this from 3-4 weeks onward because it helps to ensure baby gets lots of hindmilk so they tend to stay full a bit longer. It is also recommended if your baby is fussy, has green poops or has painful gas as you might be getting too much foremilk if those symptoms are present. Too much foremilk has identical symptoms to lactose intolerance.

Quoting Lady-Lunarius:" The only time you really don't want to breast feed is if you have Thrush, or an STD. It really is helpful to the baby to feed him/her when you're sick. Helps them get better faster. "
You can breastfeed with thrush or an STI. The only questionable ones are retroviruses like HIV or HCTC type 1 or 2. You can nurse with hepatitis even http://www.cdc.gov/breastfeeding/disease/hepatitis.htm or even active TB as long as you have started treatment. There is truly VERY little that you can have that you are supposed to not nurse.

Most conditions have breastfeeding friendly options a mom can *try*. She may find it does not work well for her - but there are usually options to any health condition that still allow nursing.
