Once your LO cut their first tooth did your nipple gets sore again for a little bit? DD just cut her first tooth and she's bitten me a few times and my nipples are sore again, not bad but how long did it last if it happened to you?

Dumb question, maybe, but how do you know that a baby is getting more efficient at getting the milk instead of just getting bored or distracted or something?

as long as the number of wet diapers is still the same then I wouldn't worry about it. My ds doesn't nurse too long after the letdown anymore and is always more interested in whats going on around him.

His diapers are fine. The amount of time he's on before he wants the other one is gradually getting shorter. A month ago it was 8 - 10 minutes now it's 5 - 7.

My lo is 8 weeks and not feeling good. His last 3 poops have been green. Is that a sign of something? He is peeing ok diapers have been fine until today back to green.

My LO has green poop too every now and again. Once it was bright green.. almost neon.. I jus figured it was something I ate.

usually bouts of green poop mean they've been drinking more foremilk as opposed to hindmilk. Say if they aren't feeling well, and don't nurse as long... or if you have an oversupply sometimes it will happen. It's not really a concern unless it becomes consistent which then could mean an allergy. But also when my kids get sick, like a tummy bug they will get green poops, but they are older and not on the boob!

Thank you, I do have oversupply and he is sick. Has RSV. It's usually and has been yellow so I'm assuming its him being sick.

we are at 3 years BFing today (for my older boy)

and 9.5 months for my younger one.

depends on how often you want to pump. If you just want to do it once a day, I'd suggest first thing in the morning, before the first feeding of the day. If you want a 2nd time, then schedule a time during the day and pump every day at that time (or close to it). This will signal your body that it needs to make more milk for that "extra" feeding.

that's fine and normal.
I actually had to cut down to 3 min at one point because he was spitting up so much and getting "overfull".

just nusre until they refuse... the spitting up might have more to do with reflux than being too full. It should calm down a bit when you start solids.

Pumped milk. Refrigerated a day or two.. take the bottle out JUST IN CASE needed. . But it was never used.. can u put it back in the fridge if it was out a 3-5 hours? Is the answer diff if I warmed it n a bowl of warm water versus sitting at room temperature.
