Got pregnant on YAZ Birth Control Pills?

I'm noticing that a LOT of women have gotten pregnant while taking YAZ birth control pills and would love to talk to you all!

I'm going to write an article about it, as I got pregnant on YAZ as well. I'd like to gather more information on whether you were taking it at the same time of day, skipped any pills ever, or were taking any other medications that may have interfered with it's effectiveness.

everyone knows BC isn't 100% effective

did you take it same time every day never missed a pill?

I don't think it's just Yaz it can be any type of BC it's not 100% although I did get pregnant while on it I took it 3-4 hours different each day so it was my own doing.

I never skipped a pill.
But as far as taking it at the same time, I probably didn't since I was busy doing last minute wedding things. Lol. Honeymoon baby :]

Yeah. Eh, oh well for us. We were talking about wanting to try soon anyways. haha. So it worked out for the best. Plus like I said, he's a honeymoon baby. What could be better?

i didnt get pregnant from yaz, but i have been getting awful migraines while im on my period...& i think it has something to do with the yaz i can;t take it anymore!!!

I've been researching online and there are a LOT of women who have gotten pregnant while taking YAZ at the same time, every day, not missing a pill.

Yaz appears to have an extremely high failure rate... Of course the only thing that is 100% effective is NOT having sex, but Yaz BC seems to work great for PMS, not so much for actual birth control though, even when taken properly.

Also, Yaz doesn't need to be taken at the same exact time, every single day, Within 3 hours is said to be acceptable, but every woman's body is different. I guess it depends on what your doctor tells you too.

If you are taking Yaz and are really, really NOT in a position to deal with a pregnancy or newborn, I HIGHLY recommend you use another form of BC with it like condoms, timing method, pull out or something.

I'm lucky because I already have a 2 1/2 year old, a wonderful husband, a job and a house, so having another baby wasn't the end of the world for us, even tho it was unplanned. If you aren't in a position to raise a child, make sure you are EXTRA careful on Yaz until more information on it's effectiveness is available. It's so new, you really can't tell. We're the test dummies for this new pill!!!!!!

Yaz is extremely popular so therefore there are going to be higher numbers of failure on it compared to other pills for the simple fact so many more women take it. Where have you been doing your research?

It worked amazing for me as far as making my periods light and helping with my PMS symptoms. Lol

  I loved it but I ran out of my 3 months sample my dr gave me   oh wouldn't need it now anyways lol.
