juss a little status update since my last post. since i had a positive quad screening, i got referred to a specialist. me and the boyfriend went to the specialist on november 17th. the specialist found out that my doctors office had used the wrong due date, the specialist then gave me an ultrasound and measured everything. my odds on having a down syndrome baby are 1:589. everything is fine, healthy and normal. im so excited to meet my baby girl (:

If your a 19 year old parent, is that considered a teen parent?? i mean, cause 18 is the legal age of adulthood, but its still a teen.??

I'm so excited. I can't wait for my first appointment, to know everything! To know the exact due date! But I'm so scared. My husband knows, but my mother doesn't!

I took a pregnancy test a few weeks ago and found out I'm pregnant. My friends mom got me a doctors appointment and found out I'm about 14 weeks with twins. I couldn't figure out how to tell my dad I'm having one. How do I tell him I'm having two?

Quoting Cadie:" Has anyone else been told that, this is going to ruin your life? i swear when i hear people say that ... [snip!] ... going to take hard work and lots of strength, but god would not have blessed me with a baby if he didnt think i could do it."
i completely agree. Everyone tried to tell me that too, but my daughter is 4 months old now and i am married to her father and we got our own apartment. It is REALLY hard, but we are doing it and proving everyone wrong. Age doesn't make a mother.

I'm 16, 17 next December. I'm 17 weeks pregnant, due June 8th. Been with my boyfriend for nearly two years now and he's 20 (full time worker, absolutely amazing boyfriend) Were over the moon and can't wait!!! I found out when I was 5 weeks, it was a huge shock for both of us but we soon started to get the hang of it. We told his parents first and they are so happy! I told my parents s week later and they had a fit (not at me, but at my boyfriends parents!) But they soon got over it too and became happy! I've had tones of abuse for getting pregnant at a young age, I've had loads of people being really nasty and saying I'm gunna be a bad mother. In all honisty I think me and my boyfriend will do absolutely fine and be amazing parents because we adore our baby! Plus, we have so much support from family. It's nice to see nice things bein said for once!

Today I found out I have TTTS. I can't even grasp it, I can't lose my babies. I'm young I know, but the thought that this could kill them is gut wrenching. I just don't know what to do :/

Best thing to do is tell your parents right away, my parents are divorced and i barely see my dad so i didnt have to worry about telling my dad so much, But i really did not want to tell my mom right away but my boyfriends mom told me it's better to tell my mom now then to wait and tell her later i told her 3 days after i found out and it was the best decision, she wasnt mad because yelling at your child will do nothing she was dissapointed but now im 4 months and shes excited and its so easy talking to her about the pregnancy just as fun as talking to a best friend about it. So i am glad i told her as soon as i did because she even admitted if i waited to tell her later she would have been more upset.

I feel so happy there's a forum for teen moms =), I got prego when I was 17 years old, I gave birth last May 16, 2011, my baby's turning 8mos. this 16th of January, hmm I feel so good, specially whenever I see my baby smiling and laughing but I'm having problems with some of the nuns in our school (I'm studying in a catholic university) some of the nuns discriminates me =( saying that I do not understand MORALITY! the heck! i think it's more immoral to have an abortion!
