Has anyone else been told that, this is going to ruin your life? i swear when i hear people say that i want to scream. Just because I am going to be a young mother, does not mean i can have a great and happy life. Sure its going to take hard work and lots of strength, but god would not have blessed me with a baby if he didnt think i could do it.

its so hard to be a teen and be pregnant in the first place because we are still learning how to be us and i cant stand when people act like because i am young that i cant raise my kid with values and that i wont even be able to do it at all, like ill just let his grandparents raise him or something.i know i have to rely on people sometimes but people shouldn't expect teens to not be able to do something just because they are young.people look at me like i cant raise my kid how i expect them to act because their children didn't turn out the way they expecteg and they are older.so this support group is an awesome thing to help teens achieve their goals for them and their children..so thanks..

yeah! my step mom said that to me and started crying when i told her. i just couldnt see how a baby is a bad thing... it might make things a little more interesting but i think im doing just fine for my family...being 17 and everything!

i was really scared too because my parents are real old fashioned. but the sooner u get it over with the better.let them know that you know it wont be easy but that your willing to take responcibility for your actions and that you will be responsible about it all...are you with the father? do they know him?

i know its so hard to tell your parents...i didn care if my dad found out but my mom was the hard one. but they are your parents and most will be there for you because they had you and know its scary.I was 17 when i got pregnant and i lost my first 31/2 months into it..then i got pregnant again about a month 1/2 later..so i had to tell my mom twice..now i am due in feb and just turned 18 in september and finishing high school.just remember that no matter what you are strong enough to do anything.

omg!! i am freaking out...a little..i went to the dr. for my checkup and she tells me i am dialated to a 3.and that my cervix is 50percent defaced...but then she says that i can go to school until labor...my mom is Completely against it because we live 45minutes from any town with a hospital and no one in our family takes that long to completely dialate..even my dr. said that she wanted me2 try and finish this last week unless i have him b4 then..so for the sake of my mom and relatives that also think my dr. is crazy im staying n town.
I just had my babay shower saturday so i have almost everything i need..but its just crazy to think i could have him any day...
