My good friend has this. She had one baby her first pregnancy and accidently got pregnant again and ended up with twins! She had one in each uterus! She ended up having to have a c-section and can't have anymore kids due to complications the last time... they were born at 26 weeks.

I went to the OB/GYN yesterday because I found out I was pregnant....my monthly has always been abnormal so I wasn't sure how far along I was so they went ahead and did an ultrasound, I am 6 weeks however that is when they told me that I have 2 Uteruses and 2 Cervix, and that is how I came across this post....I never knew that could be possible until they told me that is what I had. My doctor seems to think everything will be fine she said that she has had a few other cases like this. It is nice to see that people have had successful pregnancies. Just pray for mine I don't want anything bad to happen!

Hi there... I found out today that I infact have 2 uteruses and 2 cervixes,... I am only 17 but I am still kind of worried about the problems and difficulties I may have or experience during pregnancy when and if I may become pregnant. The doctor told me that I would have even more problems if I were to get the second more smaller uterus removed. On top of finding that out I have a possibility of being pregnant. It has only been 2 and a half weeks since the incident and a total of 3 on Thursday and won't truly know until next week... So I am kind of freaking out here....

I also recently found out that I have two uterus and two cervix. We discovered this after I went to the doctor for an ultrasound with my first pregnancy. This past Wednesday I went back for my 11 week check up to find out that we actually had miscarriaged the baby. The doctor did not seem that the miscarriage was caused by the 2 uterus and two cervix. Have you guys heard that this leads to multiple miscarriages??

I also have uterus didelphys. I had miscarried twice before, once in 2005 and then again in 2010. After finding this out &being told it would be very unlikely I would be able to carry I had kind of given up.My boyfriend&I would pray that we would be fortunate to have a baby but didn't count on it happen. shortly after the D&C (in 2010 when they found out that I had the uterus didelphys) we recieved the news that we were surprisingly expecting again! we were a little hesitant at first to not get our hopes up but I have am now 35weeks and am expecting him May 26th! I have seen my OB every two weeks since we found out and everything is going perfectly!   I will have to have a c section due to the fact that my OB is worried that there will be too much tearing&a great amount of bleeding...which could result in loss of baby, myself, or the uterus that he is in (If I were to give a normal birth) But if all I have to do is go thru a c section to have our miracle baby delivered safely then I am more then willing to go thru it. So for those of you who do have the same thing going on... just stay positive. Dont let it get you down. everything will work out. I cant say that I have any advice on how to sucessfully get pregnant but it didnt take us long.

I have the same thing, except the doctor called mine "biconuate bicollis uterus"
I have the 2 uteruses, 2 cervixes, and 1 ovary on each uterus.
I was also born with one kidney. Well really it's like 2 kidneys in one. Kinda?
My kidney is on my right side, and I have 2 urethras coming from my "one" kidney to my bladder.
Your kidneys and reproductive organs form at the same time. Have you ever been checked for any kind of kidney issue. I know when they found out about my kidney issue, then about my uteruses, and cervixes they said anyone who came through the office with any kind of kidney issue like mine they were going to check for any reproductive organ issue.
They never said anything about me not being about to have children though. They said since my uterus tilts so far to the left and back I'll probably never be able to have a natural child birth because the baby will be breach. But for getting pregnant and carrying the baby to term, he said I shouldn't have any harder/easier time then anyone with normal "stuff". Nor do I have any higher chance of twins then let say you! Glad to see I have someone else out there!
There is hardly any information the I can find about what I have. But funny I have seen it a lot more on tv and magazines about women having the same issue.

Hi yes I have this i found out after i gave birth to my daughter now 10 months, i had a septate hymen which they had to cut to get my baby out, after that they decided to do tests as normally someone with a sepate hymen usally has 2 of everything, the tests shown that i do have 2 uterus's, 2 birthing canals and 2 cervixs it is a very rare condition. and unfortunately there is absolutely nothing you can do about it. i was told that my next pregnancy i would be under a consultant so maybe ask your doctor. I had miscarried twice before which reading other peoples seems very common i finally had a full complete pregnancy. I was never told that i would never concieve but then i only found out after id given birth so technically my baby is a miracle baby too.   My tests are still on going which is a pain!!!

hey, my name is sasha, im 22 and am also 14 wks reaching 15, although this is my first pregnancy. I have 2 cervix and 2 uterus' and am also concerned. the left uterus is normal whereas the right uterus that the baby is in, is slightly smaller and tilted, according to the doctors' i'm seeing, there are risks of renal failure on my end if the baby is capable of going full term due to the child pressing against, my kidney and possibly blocking the flow to my bladder if it gets big enough, their talking at 6 months. but they are also saying that there are higher chances of still born, miscarriage, maybe even autism due to being prematurely born and and possibly under developed. im scared, i dont know what my body is capable of and the doctors i am seeing have no experience with our particular abnormalities. they're saying its too early to tell for sure on anything but on top of everything i also have a bulged disk and artheritus in my lower back. im feeling stabbing pains and am only really comfortable laying on my left side. they're also telling me that if this doesn't all pull through and i end up losing the child, that i would have to have surgery to have the smaller uterus removed,
