thus far most of my friends have PT only topics already and they only use them for really private things that they don't want everyone seeing.

There have been very few PT only topics.

For me, personally, I will still be posting general advice threads to the public, but questions I feel weird asking just anyone will be PT only. I also go to public threads often still.

my understanding is that the PM's will look more like a facebook group message. You will see everyone's reply in the same way you see the whole conversation currently. With announcements, when someone replies you only see what that particular someone said about your announcement and they don't see if anyone else replied. Does that make sense?

i hope it will stay that way! then it works fine   the other thing is, now EVERYONE can be a mod.... so whats special about it, really? and theres definitely people who whip out a CC to spend 8 bucks to buy something for enough points to become a Mod that i do NOT want to have the ability to mod me....

The plus side is that no matter how much money they spend, if they aren't good mods they wont stay a mod. If they abuse the power it will be taken away from them.

their influence will decrease until their vote is meaningless.

they can still talk about being a mod, but they literally won't have any impact.

I think all the new features are great and make the site more personal!!

I would like some clarification on PT's.
If someone PT's me and I do not PT them back....what can they see? (Meaning: When I post new threads and pics, does it show up in their feed?)
Is there a way to delete their PT'ing of me or block them from PT'ing me at all?

it does not show up in their feed, b/c the feed is only for your PT friends.

there is no way currently of removing yourself from someone's PT.

So, aside from the fact that it would be easier for them to "find" my profile here, there is no benefit to their PT'ing me unless I've PT'd them back?
