Custom profile tools is the first of the advanced features.

** If you don't know how to get them, simply follow the link advanced features to opt-in to the beta test group and start doing surveys/offers to get your first points towards this*

once you have the points, it's pretty straightforward:

1) go into your "About me" settings in "Edit My Profile"

2) Select one of our contest-winning member-generated designs
OR
create your own customized background for your "About me" on your public profile, by following the link to the instructional video

also, the color selectors for the font/background allow you to further customize even the default images to your own personal color scheme.

after which point, you can save it, and you're good to go.

in the future, we plan to have a library of default backgrounds-- that members'll be able to add to as they like (perhaps w/ a weekly contest to collect new ones or something to that effect).

also, the process to use your own custom version currently hasan instructional video, but hopefully one day, we'll have a simpler more streamlined process to allow you to build your own backgrounds on the fly.

ok I cant figure out how to change my profile??? where do I go to do it? I dont see any different options in my edit profile section

So my thoughts are is that it is a really good idea, only if it comes with a booklet for dummies (such as myself) to figure out how to use it.
