Quoting roza has a vagina.:“ This'll be really long, so get comfy. It has not changed the way I live from day to day. It was the ... [snip!] ... there were amazing and supportive, very friendly and caring. I was really scared but they understood and helped me through it.”

Quoting roza has a vagina.:“ Bummer for you that I'm TTC in two months, huh? And I plan on having AT LEAST four more kids. But don't worry, all of my future aborted fetuses can be FedEx'd to you.

That's gross.

Quoting ~incubator~:“ That's gross.”

I know, that's why I said it.
I think people think it was an easy, fun decision for me or something and it wasn't. It was one of the hardest decisions I've ever made in my life so when people get preachy, I get defensive.

I can imagine - and to tell your story is a good thing for people inquiring. It's scary being on your own and having tough choices to make -- been there very recently myself. I think you should be aware though that there are people reading this form trying very hard to have a baby and don't know that it was a hard choice for you. The way you made it sound by that comment was like a fetus is disposable and valueless which totally upset someone.

I'm okay with that. I probably shouldn't be but I am, the situation was difficult enough without having to worry about what other people think of me.

This might sound mean or insensitive but it's not supposed to, I just don't know how else to say it: the sub-forum is titled "Abortion Survivors;" moreso, the thread itself is called "Abortion: My Story." So if someone is trying to conceive and having difficulty (or not having difficulty), pro-life, doesn't like the thought of abortion or doesn't like someone getting defensive at anti-abortion talk, they probably shouldn't even come in here.

And?

I love when pro-lifers tell me I made the best decision for my family and me, that makes me feel good.   Thank you.
