I guess what I really meant is, having a due date posted is kind of like honoring or keeping that date special. If I had to get an abortion for whatever reason it would already be hard enough so I wouldn't want to think of that date or anything related to it. It's like honoring the day your baby should have been born but will not, and I'd think that'd cause you more unnecessary pain. Kinda get what I mean now?

Bummer for you that I'm TTC in two months, huh? And I plan on having AT LEAST four more kids. But don't worry, all of my future aborted fetuses can be FedEx'd to you.

Ooooh. I didn't have to do counseling (which a lot of people think is weird; some people have even told me I'm lying about the abortion because they think it's federal law to get counseling first  ), they just called me a couple of days after the first call and threw a bunch of facts at me - which I didn't even listen to because I was driving.

yeah it was completely stupid, i sat there for 3 hours to have them talk about the risks of getting an abortion and of being pregnant. im like i know this already, why are you telling me again ? it was completely pointless

I don't think it should be required anywhere. You made the decision so you must know what you're getting yourself into. Some people want that counseling and I think it should be available but when I found out I was pregnant, I spent several days researching abortion - reading people's stories for both medical and surgical, learning how both methods were done, etc - adoption and what kind of help I could receive if I chose to have the baby. I was well informed when I chose abortion so I'm glad I didn't have to listen to some stranger tell me a bunch of things I already knew.

i just wanted to shoot myself cause they were taking so long ! but my actual appointment is next thursday..im just ready to get it done and over with.

I knew I was making the right decision, I didn't have any intention of changing my mind but I was still really nervous and a little scared.

oh yess, quite nervous. a little scared but my SO is being very very supportive so that helps a whole lot.

You are very lucky to have a supportive SO, a lot of women don't. I feel so bad for women that get pregnant and then their SO leaves them to deal with it.

yeah, he agrees with me that is the best choice. and i love him so much for being on my side about it. he's held me so many nights that i cried about it and he understood. ahh i love this man.
